Accident Investigation

Investigation of accidents to vessels and personnel on behalf of vessel owners and underwriters in order to establish a root cause.

Bunker Survey

Measurements and calculation of bunker quantity on board in connection with Charter delivery/re-delivery.

Cargo Hold / Tank Cleaning

Advising on and assisting in cleaning of cargo holds/tanks on bulk carriers and tankers. Issuance of Certificate of Readiness for loading.

Cargo Surveys

Quantity and Quality surveys of liquid and dry bulk commodities during loading and discharging operations.

Condition Survey

Vessels and machinery are surveyed and report with recommendations issued, assisting the client in decision making process with regards to necessary repairs, repair costs, insurance and sales value.

Damage Surveys

Damages to vessels, machinery and cargo are surveyed on behalf of owners, receivers and underwriters. We also survey damages to commodities transported by road, rail or air.
Report is issued and damages are valuated.

Draft Survey

On behalf of owners, charterers, shippers, receivers, cargo owners and third parties in connection with loading and discharging operations.

Fitness for Towage Survey

Inspection of tow, towing vessel and equipment on behalf of owners and/or underwriters in preparation of a towing operation. Issuance of Certificate of Fitness for Towage.

Insurance (Loss Prevention) Survey

Surveys on behalf of P&I Clubs and Hull & Machinery Underwriters.

On-hire & Off-hire Surveys

Vessel is surveyed before commencing a charter period and a report describing the vessel and equipment is issued. Vessel is re-inspected when ending the charter period and damages / discrepancies are valuated.

Pre-loading Survey

Condition surveys of cargo, cargo holds and hatch covers on behalf of shippers, receivers, cargo owners and underwriters. Issuance of Certificate of Readiness for loading.

Pre-PSC Inspection

Inspection of vessel to ascertain that statutory rules and regulations are complied with, helping identify issues thus reducing the risk of detention during a Port State Control inspection.

Pre-purchase Survey

Vessel and machinery are surveyed and a detailed report issued to a potential buyer for a specific vessel. Preliminary report will be issued within 48 hours after returning from the assignment.
